Well, my relationship with English has been a sway of emotions. We do not get along well but when we try, something turns out.
In the university I have had different experiences, blogs have been something constant that I think, they serve a lot. However, on other occasions the copy and paste style classes have been discouraging and boring. In addition, sometimes the instructions were not clear and ended up failing in the exams. I believe that in my previous courses, unfortunately, I approved the exams with great difficulty.
I understand English relatively (reading and listening), but I lack vocabulary and my pronunciation is deficient. However, a tool that has helped me a lot is to learn word by word how to say it.
Currently, I use very little English. It scares me to read in English and I avoid it most of the time. Unfortunately, sooner or later I will have to face it, I just need time for it.
Next year I will dedicate 100% to English. I need it for many things: study, work, travel, etcetera. I was thinking of hiring a tutor or something like that. Definitely having time helps a lot, I hope it works for me.
Finally, I would like to highlight the help I've had in all the English courses I've had to take in college ... Joshua's help. I have no idea why he was on the same level as me (level 2), but he knows a lot and is something like a human translator.

Changes to my study programme

Hello! In this post I talk about changes to my study programme. For this there must be problems... Okay, I have very reaches about my career, the sociology (in the faculty of social sciences, in the Universidad de Chile).

First, the teachers don't have awareness about workload... their subject it's not the only one! Is this hard to understaind? For every semester, the students have around six subjects with very works and test. In the same way, there is no coordination with the dates, joining four or five jobs in the same week. This is something what happen a long time ago and I think that the unaware with the problem. This is the worst form to learning. 

Second, exist subject with teachers who are not pedagogical, they don't know how to teach. To the respect, the department of sociology shields itself in the educational evaluations, when in the end, the poorly evaluated teachers continue doing classes in spite of this. Please use the evaluations! 

Finally, the eternal problem of the lack of classrooms in the faculty, while spending money on new buldings, we keep in poor and hot classrooms, how do you want learn like that? Have you ever been in a classroom on the fourth floor one day in January during the afternoon?

I think that this a transversal problem to poor faculties in public universities, mainly due to the neoliberal model established in education. On the other hand, faculties such as Beauchef or FEN have rooms to spare, heated and even with more than one dining room, while in FACSO we only have one "kind" of casino. 

Summer Holidays :)

My plans of the summer mmm ... in fact I do not have anything planned until the second week of January, which will consist in working.

However, there are certain ideas that surround my mind, about the beach and the south.

The beach :)

The south (specifically, Chillán).

I've been to the beach with my boyfriend the last summers, and we really had a great time. We recharge energies for the coming year.

On the other hand, when I travel to the south I usually go alone or accompanied by my family, but this last time I have also extended the invitation to my boyfriend, so that we have known places, rested and enjoying the clean air.

Now, in the case of the beach, a panorama that we have been planning is to start exercising, climbing mountains and going through forests and cliffs. On the other hand, in the case of the south we have not yet thought of anything concrete, but we will surely come up with something.

Maybe you will wonder why my boyfriend is always present. Well it is in these moments where we can enjoy ourselves without the weight of work or studies. I really love these moments of relaxation because we know each other even more and we add new experiences to our history together.

Later, perhaps we will add new places to know, such as the extreme south of Chile (which he does not know) or the north, which we will only know in a few more weeks for a study trip. And who knows, maybe later we can add trips to other countries and those things.
